A combination of two pictures, then saturated.

A combination of two pictures, then saturated.

Here’s another photoshopped image of two digital pics. Utter randomness :)

It consists of:

Ecopond bubbles.

Ecopond bubbles.

Clouds behind the trees, afternoon.

Clouds behind the trees, afternoon.

Yah, there you have it. Does not have any special significance, just wondered how it would feel like if the blue-ness of the sky became water…leading it to a combination with the bubbles.

I thought the ecopond’s  bubbles looked a  little like…toxic. Bubbling poison. No offense to the fishes, it’s simply cos the water looks…green.

Some other pictures I took with the camera borrowed from school for the digital photography assignment:

Zee bottom of ze drain

Zee bottom of ze drain

Yah well, boredom took control of nooboet’s brain, thus she decided to bend down and take a picture of the drain. At first she wanted the drain, but she thought that she might want the bottom of the drain…and found the latter much more interesting. So here’s the drain.

The living room.

The living room.

Uh, this wasn’t for the assignment. This was taken when I got my camera!!! <3 Cos my phone doesn’t have a camera, so i requested for one so that I can take pictures any time I wanted :) In the elation, I snapped a random picture of the living room.

Facepaint on hand to elbow.

Facepaint on hand to elbow.

This one is randomly taken to show the skeleton hand. Pure dumbness. Drew it happily on by slapping on the black, waiting for it to dry, then covering it with white. Is interesting when you don’t look real close and realise the bones are totally incorrect…freaked out my godmother when we went out to the botanic garden, and the waitresses and the restaurant we went to afterwards XD. Oh, we (sis and I) also had face paint around our eyes, courtesy of mom. Here it is.

Facepaint by mom.

Nooboet’s sister had one that is of green, white and black. Also very pretty. Cheers for mom and her extremely capable hands.

At the Singapore Botanic Garden, or wadeva it is called

Taken on the very same day as the above two pictures. Bro’s also snapping pictures, as you can see. This spot is rather scenic. We stopped to have a picnic :) Godmother found this lovely spot. Oh, there seemed to be construction work in a distance.

Silhouettes of the plants and a crane in the bg.

See? I told you. There was construction in a distance.

Going home with Angie, Jiangyin and SeokTing.

This was taken with the school’s camera again, while on the way home. It was quite bumpy and dark, thus the picture turned out somewhat grainy and blur-ish. Though i sorta like how the lines sorta converge at the end, after a curvy fashion.

Red HDB's, typical of Singapore

Out of the living room window. Just a simple stretch of buildings. Captured with the school’s camera, as well. Oh, it’s red and white, so it seems…even more typically singapore. A typically coloured typical building in typical Singapore is the typical view outta my living room window. Ooh.

Little plants sprouting outta the drain

Little plants sprouting outta the drain

This was taken at the back of the school, near the picture with the bottom of the drain. I found it interesting that plants are so hardy—-they grow everywhere, just like roaches. However, while green plants outta the drain is quite sweet, roaches outta the drain ain’t as nice.

A building made outta clear plastic and something else

A building made outta clear plastic and something else

Pardon the blurness, I took it in the darkroom after all, lack of lighting = blur. Kinda makes it looks like a super-house, radiating power and what not. -    -” I like this work by a senior (anyone noes who?). It’s quite cool, with all that pullable levels and tiny people.

Pyramids of wood blocks, with shavings.

Pyramids of wood blocks, with shavings.

As the description goes, I arranged the tiny wood blocks that are leftover from Kangboon, Chihboon and teacher sawing madly at the wood. The shavings are then gathered to form a sandy feel. Quite lame, but fun ;P

Taken on the way home

What was the time?Quite late for the sky to be that dark, anyway. The vehicles were moving, thus the motion blur. Found it interesting…like a explosion. Boom. More converging lines.

A line of trees

A line of trees

Turned around while looking at the sky, and saw a row of trees waving at me, so I took a picture of it. They look like…waving hands, waving in the wind. Also in the evening. I kinda like how the trees are not in a perfect straight line. That would’ve been BO-RING.

Sun and clouds, evening

Sun and clouds, evening

Yah well, also in the evening, and wondered if taking the sun will render some interesting effects. Thus the picture. The sun’s blurred, and is the only colour among the gray skies. Obviously the sun’s setting -   -”

Sky and cloud, evening, with a arc

Sky and cloud, evening, with a arc

This one is taken at another time, on the same day, same sun. (duh). There’s an interesting arc like thing, but the sun isn’t as clear as the last picture. I can’t make up my mind as to which is more…interesting.

There, I’ve crapped so much about the pictures, I might as well continue on to some handphone camera quality pics.

Then again, I’ll put it in another post, another day. I’ve only a few more hours to do homework, and mom wants the computer (gasp).

Thus, Nooboet says good-bye to you :)

  8. Haha, Chia, you do have talent in photography:)
I love the combination of the two photos as well as the sprouting plant. It’s always amazing how strong and full of life plants cna be. The combination of sky and water gives a sense of serenity yet the the ripples and bubbles added a little vibrancy to it:)
    Well done!
